Purpose-Compassion-Integrity
My name is Niki Froman. I am from Fort Collins, CO and am proud to be raising my 3 amazing children with my partner in this community.
My belief embodies the strength of relationships and empowering self advocacy. I specialize in working with families, women and children experiencing life transitions. There can be several different types of transitions, but no matter the situation, these can bring adversity, challenges and unexpected trauma. By identifying strengths and resiliency in each family foundation or individual, these can provide the structure to help healing begin. It has always been my goal to have a positive impact on our community.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (License #09926788). My educational background includes both my Bachelors of Social Work Degree and Masters of Social Work Degree from Colorado State University. I have additional experience and training in crisis intervention, trauma informed practices, birth trauma, NICU trauma, child loss, parent/child interactions, pregnancy and postpartum.
I spent 15 years working with clients in a hospital setting, and the last 5 years in private practice. During my time in the hospital I specialized in the Birthing Center, Postpartum Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I also play a role on the Crisis Support Team and at Outpatient Child Therapy Services for the Cleft Lip/Palate Clinic. I have a passion for the journey of parental life transitions and supporting individuals through their experiences.
